Monday 18 March marks the start of Shakespeare Week and Whytrig Middle School has been sent a 'Wild Book' to take part in the Biggest Shakespeare Book Hunt of all time. Yesterday we set the book free somewhere in the North East, and if you follow the Whytrig Twitter feed @whytrigms, you can find out where it is.
On the inside cover was one of Shakespeare's Forgotten Words, OBLOQUY, which means disgrace/reproach. The purpose is to raise awareness of reading, and in particular, the works of Shakespeare. By following the Twitter feed, we will see how far our book travels as people find it, read it and hide it again.
Go and find our @ShakespeareWeek Wild Book today, read it and then hide it for someone else to find. Don’t forget to quote #OBLOQUY and #wordwarriors when you tweet your clues and let’s see how far the book can travel!
