A group of resilient Year 12 students completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition practice run over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Students braved very cold conditions and even experienced ice forming on their tents! The group did lots of orientating the map and using their compass skills. They also did a great deal of brilliant cooking to prepare the team meals.

The whole group did fantastically well in all aspects, well done and we look forward to the real expedition soon.
