Celebrating Lifesaving Achievements!

We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the fantastic achievements of sixth form student Ellie at National and Commonwealth Lifesaving competitions recently.

Ellie attended three competitions in Leeds over two days in November, representing both the North East Region team and Blyth Lifeguard and Swimming Club.

At the National Lifesaving Championships Ellie won two gold medals and one gold overall. The Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships saw Ellie win four gold, one bronze and one gold overall medal!

At the national’s team event Ellie competed as part of the North East Region team coming first overall and as part of the Blyth Lifeguard and Swimming Club coming second. The North East team also won first overall trophy in the National Lifesaving Championships.
