Students were busy earlier this term collecting Easter eggs from fellow students and staff to donate to the Freeman Hospital.
Around 150 Easter eggs were delivered to the Freeman Hospital following creative work by the Year 9 community group students and organised by Mrs Scott and Mrs Crossman. The group of students designed posters for display around the school asking students and staff for donations.
Mr Scott, Head of School ACHS said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been able to donate the Easter eggs to those in hospital. At such a difficult time for everyone, hopefully our small gift will bring a smile to the faces of those less fortunate than ourselves. As a true community school it is very important that we continue to show that we are caring, kind and considerate of others. Well done to all involved.
Take care, stay safe and look after each other.”
