As part of our PE lessons this year, we have been competing in School Games events: working through challenges in a range of sports, and submitting our scores to be ranked alongside other Northumberland schools. Following lots of hard work by all the year 6 classes, I am delighted to say 6 North were chosen to compete in the Virtual Hockey final via Zoom on Wednesday 23rd June.
New drills were created, aimed at testing our passing and receiving skills as well as our dribbling, which meant 6 North had to once again work hard in lessons to prepare. On the day all pupils exceeded expectations, not only by achieving high scores in each challenge, but also by behaving impeccably. Well done to everyone involved!
