This week at SSMS our students have been getting to grips with Times Table Rockstars by completing a speed tables grid on paper and then logging on to the Times Table Rockstars website to choose their rock star name and avatar. They can play other students from their class, select anyone in school, challenge their teachers in the rock slam or even play anyone else in the world. TTRS aims to promote times table recall by increasing students speed and accuracy. Little and often is the key - a short amount of time spent on the site most days will really benefit students and increase their confidence in maths. Please can parents support this with their children over the next few months. Thank you.
