Year 7 and 8 pupils from Whytrig Middle School have been taking part in weekly sessions at Astley Park Bowls Club.
Pupils from each year group have had 1 hour of bowling for 5 weeks this half term and have learned new skills, the laws of the game and improving teamwork.
The pupils involved have really enjoyed learning a new sport and have improved very quickly in a short space of time.
We hope to continue to work with our local bowls club after half term and hopefully a new school team will develop in the near future as a result of this partnership.
