Olivia Harris from Newcastle University delivered the Year 12 Assembly last Friday where she explained how to create a winning UCAS personal statement.
Olivia's talk covered all the key components of a personal statement and she was able to convey exactly what admissions tutors are looking for from an applicant. She provided some good examples of how to write each segment using the active voice and she gave pointers on how to make your personal statement stand out from the crowd.
