Ben Sanderson came into Astley Community High School and Whytrig Middle School to encourage young people to put themselves forward for election in the forthcoming Northumberland Youth Elections which take place on 19th February 2025.
These are forums where young people can have their voices heard on issues that are important to them.
Recent projects have included:
• Mental Health Work
• Climate Change
• LGBT issues
In Northumberland, five young people will be elected to Youth Cabinet And Two to Youth Parliament and we are delighted that Caroline (pictured) is currently a member of Youth Cabinet.
