Last Tuesday, 30 children form Year 5 visited Broxfield Farm; a working farm in Alnwick.  The children were amazed to learn about the processes and hard work that goes into looking after a farm.  They learned about seed dispersal, had a chance to grind some flour, a trip on the tractor and even fed some of the 180 cows!

Despite the cold, the children had a great day out and learned a lot.  The trip was funded by Northumberland Coast, National Landscape - we hope to be involved in more projects like this in the future.
