This year's Mock Election is now in full swing. All year 7s took part in a drop down day last week to learn about how an election works, form their own political parties, write manifestos and present them to their class,

We have 5 teams going through to the main election: some were chosen by their classmates, others who had shone as individuals were recommended by their teachers to be invited to come together as one of two wildcard teams. All are already showing passion, creativity, commitment and leadership. This year’s mock election is shaping up to be the best yet, especially since our local MP, Emma Foody, is planning to join us on the morning of the Election speeches and voting.

Good luck to our five parties who will spend the next few weeks preparing for election day.

Can you guess what their logos might stand for?
