Kelland Watts, former Seaton Valley Football Development Scheme (SVFDS) player now plays for England’s Under 18 squad and has recently captained Newcastle United’s Under 23 squad.

Kelland attended SVFDS for a number of years. During that time he was selected for Newcastle United’s Football Academy and also continued to train with SVFDS.

Other SVFDS success stories include former Astley Community High School Students, Tom Allen who signed a scholarship with Newcastle United Football Academy and Leif Davis who is now a full time pro-player for Leeds United.

SVFDS run 12 week football coaching programmes designed to develop the knowledge, techniques and motivation to improve young players at every age range.

Enrolment is open now for our spring 2019 programme which starts week commencing Monday 7 January 2019.
