All pupils at Seaton Sluice Middle School have been set a series of Reading Challenges to complete this half-term, to promote the joy of reading and all of the benefits that it brings. Tasks vary by year group but include reading a book in an unusual location, reading a book with a red cover, and reading more than one book by the same author. Pupils can find their own Reading Challenge sheet in Google Classroom, and their English teacher will reward them with merits for each one they tick off.
