
It seemed topical for the Year 5 scientists to experiment with sneezing, testing out the hypothesis:
Using a tissue when you sneeze helps to stop germs spreading.
Our results showed that this is, in fact, true. Chris Whitty was right!
We had time to test out a supplementary hypothesis:
Tall people spread more germs than short people.
Interestingly, further testing led us to conclude that short people are the superspreaders!! If a vertically-challenged individual in your vicinity has a cold, our science clubbers have some sound advice...
