In Year 5, it has been 'Whisper Week'. This challenge was set up to allow the children to practise using quiet voices in class so that they could discover an appropriate volume to use with their peers when indoors. As a sweet incentive, each day one child from each class was rewarded with a Wispa bar! The children have enjoyed the challenge and will be able to use their new knowledge to create a calm, quiet environment in school in the future. At the end of the week, a Wispa Gold was awarded to a child in each class who managed to maintain a quiet voice for the whole week.
