We have been working hard recently in supporting Year 11 students to shape their aspirations, and to think about life beyond Year 11! Mr Ironside and Mr Scott, along with other members of staff, have been hosting weekly breakfast sessions in Cafe 6 to discuss students' plans and to support them in making the most appropriate choices for next year.
Louise from Durham University Access and Engagement Team supported our session this week, which was fantastic. ACHS is joining the Durham University Schools Membership Scheme to support students in considering Russell Group universities.
We have had some brilliant conversations with the students and we are looking forward to working with them even more later in the year.
