SSMS are proud to announce the Stars of the Week and a special mention for some SSMS pupils who stepped up to be good Samaritans in the community recently...

Some of our lovely children noticed a lady in distress at the bus stop outside of the Astley Arms, at about 5.30pm one school day. They asked whether she was okay and waited with her until her niece was able to collect her, reassuring her throughout. Her niece was so grateful that she contacted school, and we tracked down the good Samaritans (John J, Bailey R and Maisie H from Year 7 and Nicola J from Year 8). We are hugely proud of them all.
