SSMS - Year 6 Moths

After finding out that peppered moths changed from grey to black in order to survive, Year 6 looked at how colour and size affects their chance of survival.  The children coloured and cut different sized moths then hid them in the playground for the other half of the class to find.  They then discovered what adaptations moths could have to hide from predators more easily.
