Following a busy week of SATs, 52 excited pupils and 5 enthusiastic members of staff set off to Lockerbie Manor in Scotland for a weekend of non-stop fun.
After an interesting bus journey, with far too many renditions of ‘You Cannae Shove your Grannie off the Bus’ – thanks Mrs Docherty – we finally arrived safely at our very own Pod Village. A quick tour was followed by pupils splitting up into their groups to tackle a range of activities – from paddling round the lake in our canoes, to a mad dash up the climbing wall, to perfecting our aim whilst rifle shooting, we tried it all.
Throughout the trip, pupils were impeccably behaved, pushing themselves to their limit on all the activities we faced. Staff were not only impressed, but also extremely proud of everyone. Is it time to do it all again yet?
