Over the last weekend 35 students from Year 10 completed the expedition section of their Duke of Edinburgh bronze award. Having walked 17km over two days, the students braved strong winds and the odd shower over Hadrian’s wall and came out triumphant.
The expedition section of the award covers a range of outdoor skills such as navigation, cooking, and setting up and sleeping in a tent. The whole group did fantastically well in all aspects, well done Year 10 you have done yourselves and the school proud.
