Celebrating Student Success!

We’re proud to continue shining a spotlight on the outstanding sporting achievements of our students. This time, we are celebrating the success of a true football star.

One of our Year 10 students has been playing for the Newcastle United Academy since the age of 4 demonstrating his exceptional talent.

He was invited to attend the England Men’s Under-15 Emerging Talent Camp, an incredible achievement and recognition of his hard work. Over the three-day camp, he trained with the national squad and received excellent feedback for his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to make the most of every training opportunity.

Over December he was selected to play for the England U15s team, The Young Lions at St George's Park, they played three international matches, securing impressive victories against Iceland (7–0), Spain (3–0), and Italy (1–0) — with Charlie getting on the scoresheet.

The next game is in February in Cyprus and he is waiting to hear if he is selected.

These achievements highlight the drive and dedication our students show in pursuing excellence in sport, and we are extremely proud of him.
