In July 2020, the government announced £96 million of funding to support 16 to 19 providers to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from coronavirus (COVID-19). This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.

ACHS received £7,608 which is being used to provide targeted Maths and English interventions. Small group work and 1:1 support is now in place for 15 Maths students and 13 English students who have been selected because they didn't achieve Grade 4 at GCSE.

Additional funding has been announced for 2021-22 and this will be used to expand the support on offer to include other subjects.
